Nantes winger, Moses Simon is in contention for the Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for December/January, after being nominated alongside four other players, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian international is recognised for outstanding performance, particularly his stunning strike in Nantes' 1-0 victory over Stade Rennes on 8 December.
Simon's goal, which saw him dribble past three Rennes players before scoring, has earned him a place among the nominees, which also include Georges Mikautadze of Olympic Lyon, Saint-Etienne duo Lucas Stassin and Augustine Boakye, and Maghanes Akilouche.
This season, Simon has registered five goals and six assists in 18 league appearances for Nantes.
