AS Roma are monitoring Nigerian midfielder David Moses and could make a move for the Slavia Prague player during the January transfer window, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur.
The 22-year-old has become one of the Italian Serie A club’s midfield targets as Roma assess ways to strengthen their options in the centre of the pitch ahead of the winter window.
Moses is reportedly valued at approximately €10m, while his contract with Slavia Prague runs until June 2029. Roma would therefore have to negotiate with the Czech champions if they decide to formalise their interest.
The Nigerian international has developed his career in Europe since joining Czech club MFK Karvina from Central Academy in Abuja in 2022.
He initially played for MFK Karvina’s youth and reserve sides before progressing to the senior team. That move allowed him to continue his development in European football and establish himself at a higher level.
Moses joined Slavia Prague in 2024 and has since won two domestic titles with the club, during the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.
Although his main position is central midfield, he can also play in a defensive midfield role. That flexibility could give Roma further options in the middle of the pitch if a transfer is pursued.
The midfielder has also gained experience in European competition, making two appearances for Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League.
Those matches included a 2-0 defeat by Sabah and a 2-2 away draw against Fenerbahce. His involvement in the competition has added to his experience at the highest level of European club football.
Moses’ technical ability, versatility and growing experience have placed him on Roma’s radar as the Italian club consider possible additions to their midfield.
There has been no indication that a formal offer has been made, but Roma are understood to be monitoring his progress before the January transfer window.
