Newcastle United extend Lewis Hall contract until 2031

Newcastle United have confirmed that defender Lewis Hall has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The Premier League side have not disclosed the terms of the agreement, although journalist Keith Downie reports that the deal will keep the 21-year-old at St James' Park until 2031.

Hall joined Newcastle from Chelsea in 2024. He has made five appearances for the club in all competitions this season and has provided two assists.

The England youth international can operate at left-back and has established himself as part of Newcastle’s squad since making the move from Chelsea.

Manchester United had previously been reported to be interested in Hall. The club were said to be considering a move for the defender in 2027.
