Manchester United are convinced that Nigerian star Victor Osimhen is one of the reliable forward to lead their attack line and as such, they haven't sent scouts to monitor him because they are very well aware of his qualities and potentials but the dealbreaker remains convincing the player to move to Old Trafford, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.
The striker is set to return to Napoli once his loan deal expires with Galatasaray in the summer but with a mutual plan for an exit on the cards, the Serie A side are keen to get him off their books in which they agreed a deal with Al Ahli but the player turned it down coming at the back of Galatasaray's permanent offer which was rebuffed by the club.
The EPL side aren't the only one interested as they will have to battle a host of other top European clubs with the player giving no hint on his next preferable destination, maintaining silence while he focuses on Galatasaray.
Victor Osimhen's departure from Napoli appears increasingly likely, with sources familiar with both the player and the Serie A club confirming his intention to pursue a new challenge. His €80 million (£66 million) release clause, effective from the end of June has sparked significant interest notably from Ruben Amorim's side.
However, the feasibility of any transfer hinges on the club's adherence to Financial Fair Play regulations and the resulting budget constraints during the summer window.
