Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, vice-captain Moses Simon and striker Akor Adams are yet to arrive at Nigeria’s training camp in London ahead of Saturday’s Unity Cup final against Jamaica, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The trio are among the senior players invited for the tournament and were also included in Nigeria’s squad for next month’s international friendlies against the Poland national football team and Portugal national football team.

Despite the Super Eagles already stepping up preparations in London, the players have not reported to camp, creating uncertainty over their availability for the final clash.

“They have not joined camp yet. I don’t know when they will,” a team official told SCORENigeria.

Nigeria will take on the Jamaica national football team in a repeat of the 2025 Unity Cup final, with an experimental Super Eagles squad expected to be led by Terem Moffi.

Éric Chelle’s side secured a place in the final after defeating Zimbabwe 2-0 in the first semi-final courtesy of a brace from Femi Azeez.

Jamaica also recorded a 2-0 victory over India national football team in the second semi-final on Wednesday to set up another meeting with the three-time African champions.

While Nigeria will be aiming to retain the Unity Cup title they won in 2025, Jamaica will be hoping to end the Super Eagles’ dominance in the competition.
