Nathan Tella has been nominated for Bayer Leverkusen’s Goal of the Month Award for January following his impressive strike in the club’s 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park on January 10.

The Nigerian winger opened the scoring in the first minute of the match, finishing off a well-timed assist from Robert Andrich. It was his first goal of the season for Xabi Alonso’s side, marking a special moment in his Bundesliga campaign.

Tella is up against Alejandro Grimaldo, Florian Wirtz, and Patrick Schick, all of whom scored spectacular goals in January.
