Atalanta co-owner, Stephen Pagliuca has said that head coach Gian Piero Gasperini "made a mistake" with his public criticism of Ademola Lookman, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Gasperini described Lookman as "one of the worst penalty takers" after the winger missed a crucial penalty in Atalanta's 3-1 home defeat to Club Brugge. Lookman labelled the comments "disrespectful".
However, Pagliuca says the incident has been resolved and the club is moving forward. "We want to put this situation behind us, and I think we have," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He made a mistake by speaking about an individual. At Atalanta, we have a policy: if things go wrong, we take responsibility. We look at ourselves and how to improve."
