The first match is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 February, with the second match taking place two days later. Both matches will be played in Abidjan, the Ivorian capital.

The Flying Eagles, led by coach Aliyu Zubairu, are expected to depart Abuja for Abidjan on Monday, 24 February.

The friendly matches replace the previously scheduled fixtures against Egypt, which were cancelled after both countries were drawn in the same group for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
