Sadiq Umar is still relishing his brace yesterday but gutted that Valencia CF weren't able to get all maximum points as they take consolation with a point in the hard fought game at the Estadio El Sadar, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Speaking to the press after the game, the Nigerian forward admitted that the point is very vital for the team as they are already looking at the next game that will be in front of their fans.

"I feel good and this is a very important point for us away from home. We are ready to go again, every minute in football on the pitch matters. I saw the opportunity to score and as a striker, I need to do something and I did it, that's why I said every minutes counts, you have to take your chances. It's a quick reaction and it did end up as a goal which is all that matters.

"This point is so important but now we are now putting our mind to the game against Real Valladolid at Mestalla", he concluded.

Meanwhile, it's not yet known if his loan deal would be made permanent at the end of the season or if he would return to Real Sociedad considering that the club just appointed a new president today in Kiat Lim as they continue the charge to avoid the drop and fall back within financial fair play regulations.
