Tolu Arokodare was on the scoresheet once again in continuation of his prolific season run as KRC Genk fell to a 1-2 loss in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Croky Cup at Club Brugge, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigerian forward had given the visitors the lead before half time but the West Flemish side rallied back, scoring each half apiece to stage a stunning comeback in front of their roaring home fans.
It's not all over for Arokodare and Genk as the second leg awaits but first, they must travel to KV Mechelen on Saturday for their Jupiler Pro League clash.
The team would be seeking to return to winning ways before they turn their attention to the Cup's second leg against Brugge where they would be seeking redemption at home and also for a spot in the finals.
