Alessandro Bastoni is in no rush to extend his contract with Inter after becoming dissatisfied with the terms of the club’s latest offer.
Inter have proposed a new agreement to the 27-year-old central defender, but Bastoni and his representatives are unhappy with the conditions, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Italy international is open to joining Barcelona next year. However, he wants to discuss the situation with Barcelona manager Hans-Dieter Flick beforehand, as had previously been expected.
Barcelona have not abandoned their interest in Bastoni and remain in contact with his representatives. The Catalan club are seriously considering making another attempt to sign the defender in the foreseeable future.
Transfermarkt values Bastoni at 65m euros.
