The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) convened a significant gathering of football development professionals and leading academies in Africa on December 4th, 2024, in Cairo, Egypt, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The event aimed to foster collaboration, share best practices, and collectively enhance youth development across the continent.

CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, emphasized the importance of this initiative: "This is a crucial moment for African football. By bringing together key stakeholders, we can collectively shape the future of youth development and produce world-class talent."

The meeting was attended by prominent African football institutions, including Al Ahly, RS Berkane, Rahimo Football Club, Académie Génération Foot, Medina United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Right to Dream, Zed FC Academy, Kaizer Chiefs, Institut Diambars, Elite Du football Boissons du Cameroun EFBC, Académie Mohammed VI de Football, and West African Football Academy.

The one-day workshop focused on refining strategies for nurturing young talent, identifying challenges, and developing collaborative solutions.
